I do wonder sometimes what death would be like. It's not that I idolize it or think of it as something it's not. I know that once I die. That's it. Everything I was, everything I've done. It won't matter. I'm fine with that, I'm fine with meeting whatever fate I have waiting for me when I die. Because every day living gets harder, it hurts to be alive physically, mentally, and emotionally. The world isn't a place for me, and I'm fine with that.

Just want you to know that you're not alone in experiencing these feelings; I truly understand what you're going through.

For me, dealing with a mind that constantly inflicts pain is far more challenging than accepting the idea of death. I believe no one would fault me for wanting to find a way out of the turmoil that exists within my thoughts.

If you need someone to chat with, feel free to message me.

I do wonder sometimes what death would be like.
I interrogated myself with the same question and I thing that I found a response, at least for me. Following my thoughts we can that death is passage of the consciousness from one life to another.
DISCALIMER: for consciousness I inted the ability to understand and to be aware of yourself and your surroundings, not the ability to store memories or similars. So consciousness and memories are TWO SEPARATE THINGS;
So we can simply descibe the process of death, as I said before, like a passage of consciousness. Let's imagine the cosciuosness like a part of the brain, the passage consist simply in trasporting this "organ" from the dead person to the just boen one. Ofc the just gained cosciousness will take some time to adapt to the new brain, and we can locate this time in the first 3 year of the new born, were he/she "can't" undesrtand a thing. As I said before the new born will not have any of the memories of the owner of the cousciusness.
The last thing that I want to say is that this process is similar to reincarnation, because for me the cousciusness is the definition of BEING (Idk if I wrote it right, in my langua is called "ESSERE" or "IO", for a comparision), so tecnically is stil you but without memories.

Just a reflection on death, I hope that is everything cleare in case just ask for delucidations, it can be interesting or not, it depends on the person.
Anyway think before CBTing, is an advise frome someone who was on this subject for a long time.

Stay safe :)

I think it is real peace if there's no god and no religion, and I think there's not.
I oftentimes think this because this world is chaos and death is more peaceful and meaningful than when we felt actual pain and sadnessand torment, and no one realistically want to deal with being puppets and not having the general freedom of expressing their souls the way it should've been and it is a real place of love it feels almost like, especially when you remember snd could feel things you never had then when you were alive... It's were I so bad y want to be, especially when concepts destroyed true peace and love in this world.

+1. true peace cannot be achieved if there is the idea of an "all seeing omniscient" being we have to constantly be afraid of. plus there is this fear of going to "hell" and all. im sorry if im being too rude or offensive towards any religious members here, but its just my opinion. we are free to believe what we want ofcourse.

Religions have been invented by not suicidal people for not suicidal people, and this is the broad majority of people.
Due to their survival instinct most people cannot stand the imagination of not existing anymore. So they invented reincarnation, heaven and eternal life. Hell was added in order to control the believers. Scientific findings make all this inventions implausible and more and more people are forced to accept not existing after death. It´s a little like "the fox and the grapes", if not existing is my fate I don´t want anything else.

exactly. the fear of death is a factor i missed in my post. it drives the majority of people to believe in religion. and nonbelievers are supposed to be sent to hell.

I also see myself as not meant for existing, I personally never should have suffered at all and I understand feeling so tired of suffering, it's just so cruel to me how there's all this suffering in existing, I also find it painful to exist. But anyway I wish you the best.
