• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Death is absolutely inevitable, it must come one way or another. Moreover, we do not know if we will live to old age. Millions of people die at a young age, so what's so bad about suicide? It just means that you took control of your death and left peacefully at a time convenient for you. Everything that happens after death is nothing, we must remember that death is inevitable

There is some very small chance of technology exponentially leveling up, making perfect anti-aging/reverse aging/etc and powering this by dyson spheres and whatnot, no? Still, the universe would eventually die out, so unless they could harness dark energy or figure something else out they'd still die. Also, merging with machines, uploading consciousness, AGI, etc.

Yes, we will all die no matter what. Death is true peace and it is freedom from all suffering. Life is completely unnecessary, we were all perfectly fine not existing until we were forced to live. I see being born as a curse. For me suicide is essential as the life expectancy is too long. It is preventing decades of suffering.

However the society tries to force us to live as they need workers. If suicide was accepted by society it would shatter peoples delusions that life is always worth living. We have the right to exit at a time of our own choosing, it is our life, our decision. We all deserve the option of a peaceful way to leave this world, we should not have to resort to methods that could fail.

Life seems unnecessary indeed. Most I do is what is essential for survival and rest of the time do something to distract me. Huge struggle for what? Eventual guaranteed death.

Animals that don't have as evolved mind have it easier in some sense. They are busy surviving and reproducing, and some of them if they are lucky, rest or even play. People get depressed, ruminate, have various other mental disorders, use drugs to feel alive and all other crap. Unnecessary rollercoaster of emotions and reward hunting.

I have given up on most worldly things. Why do I need to grasp on things I will lose anyway. Is life really that valuable? Should I "get most out of life"? Why?

I feel drawn to Buddhistic and similar philosophies.

I also may be depressed and cynical. Someone more into life may think very differently.

Yes, death is the ultimate conclusion.to our life cycle in which ever way it is concluded. We have difficulty .accepting impermanence . Human's want to live forevermore, but reality tells us that we are fragile.beings.

Even our Earth is doomed to be frazzled, even if humanity doesn't destroy us with pollution beforehand. All the while we have egg- heads running shows like cop26, the big LIE will eventually be known.

Yeah. Life is just a forced march to the grave. I know some people have good lives and I wouldn't want to take that away from them. But forcing others who have bad lives to keep on living for the benefit of others is the definition of sadism.

Dying is scary but inevitable. Suicide is just opting out a little early. There is nothing bad about suicide. We were born due to the selfish and naive desires of our parents. We don't have to stick around if we don't want to. That is just societal programming used to keep us in shackles.
