Does anyone ever want to be friends in ctb and want to go together? I think I would be braver with someone doing it with me. Is that a bad idea?

I've been wondering the same thing. But I'm in NZ and there don't seem to be many Kiwis on here.
I was considering offering to have someone video call me to document what happens to me as I'll be drinking SN without AE (since the vomit = fail thing is a myth, hopefully a recent account would help others) and they could post the notes here but... I also want to be alone with my photos and messages in my final moments so I don't know.

You definitely have to put a lot of trust in people, I'm sure you are aware of those with not so like-minded intentions that wish to prey on the vulnerable people through Suicide pacts and the like, but besides that it is a good idea since humans are social at heart, even in a moment of CTB. Oh also, another con would be your friend or pact-partner backing out most likely from Survival Instinct (SI) or some other reason leaving you hanging, No pun intended

I personally do not think that this is a good idea, and anyway, I would rather die alone, far away from any people. I wish that we lived in a world where our right to die is respected and euthanasia is legalised, as then people would not have to die alone if that is what they want.I am honestly alone in everything I do, it would seem to be fitting to have a friend of like mind to ctb with, along with like my favorite meal and getting drunk AF and having some laughter in the last couple hours.

It IS rife with potential problems. Huge issues potentially. I've already read about a tragedy that happened after some got together. There are potential legal issues to if all who get together are not successful. And all this is a shame, because I have lived a good number of years all alone and it might be comforting to not be alone at that time.Similar threads
