Ctb by overdose of rivotril or diazepam? Has anyone tried it, how was the experience, and what is the right dose?

I'm so sorry you're suffering @SadGirl . The only thing I can say is Over 25 yrs ago I tried to CBT by taking 200 Xanax at 1 mg . I woke up 2 days later confused and with a massive headache. CBT using Benzos is not that common. It just doesn't work.

Is this possible? I have read many warnings about benzos not needing to be taken lightly and that they can be fatal, especially with alcohol... My doctor perscribed me Rivotril, I would want to try to CTB with that...

Sorry but things like Xanax and Diazepam (Valium) won't do the job. All you'll do is get a good nap.
Not sure about Rivotril as I'm not familiar with it but I wouldn't count on it. Basically all of the meds in that category that were dangerous have been replaced by safe versions.

I always get mixed up between the two but anything that's dangerous is extremely hard to get, bordering on impossible from any doctor (trust me, I've tried and had legitimate uses for them). About the most dangerous meds Drs will prescribe now are opiods and we all know how hard that is.

Barbiturates were used as sleeping aid, no more tho? Are they prescribed at all and which meds would that be? I hear everyone just talking about N, but not other barbiturates that could be perscribed for humans. I understood that N is just in ise for animal euthanasia, but maybe I'm wrong.

Been there, done that.
I took 40mg in total. I just passed away for 36hours and felt dizzy for some days. It doesn't work.

From what I've read on this forum, barbiturates are no longer prescribed. You can't get them anywhere. Except illegally. You can look at the threads about N to find out more about that. I think wornoutlife might have been talking about benzos.
Take a look at the resource section to find out which method is most suitable for you. Please don't do anything without thinking things through. Benzos are not reliable for ctb. I don't know about Rivotril.Last edited:

Sorry you mean sedative drugs? Well clonazepam were the pills I took. They just didn't kill me. Also, I drank alcohol with them. 2 beers and some vodka I think.
Anyway, here I am, still alive :(

Just to clarify, Rivotril is a brand name for clonazepam.
