i made a thread previously saying how i am really worried about how my body will look after my death, but today i was looking at wpd (watchpeopledie) and i am now kind of reconsidering the possibility of shooting myself. the guns i currently have access to aren't super powerful so they won't explode my head or my chest or anything and most likely an ambulance will be called pretty soon after i pull the trigger so im worried about the possibility of surviving it. after watching compilations of people ctb via gun its much less dramatic than i thought it would be and if i wanted to avoid messing up my face i could do it in the chest. i know that they will clean you up after you die so this way it might not even look like i was hurt at all. i don't know if i will be able to make it look like an accident though.

I did watch clips on watchpeopledie some week ago and gun shoot suicide are really brutal i didn't get how you take it less dramatic way to CTB ._.

oof! maybe im a bit desentized. the clips i saw they didnt even look like they were being shot. almost just like they were being knocked over by a strong wind. it's probably the type of gun being used. i've seen gsw where the person has horrible injuries and is completely disfigured to where you can barely tell theyve been shot. if i were to use this method i would stay away from shooting my from my face/head/neck and probably stick to my chest.

I did even seen a guy who did shooted himself with probably a magnum after he had a calling while he was sitting in a computer desk.. His head did explode and it was alot brutal and bloody, cops did come to him it was really horrible.

For disfiguring it depends on what cartridge you use 22lr, 380 auto, and all rounds below shouldnt cause much disfiguring 9mm, 45 ACP, and other non revolver pistol rounds will cause considerable disfiguration and 5.56, revolver rounds and other stuff will cause a lot of disfiguration and 12 GA along with anything above 30.06 will cause massive disfiguration and have a high chance of straight up splitting your head also contact shots (when the barrel of the gun is pressed up against the head) will cause a ton of disfiguration and will turn your brain and other soft tissues into a pulp and shooting the temples of the head has a high chance of failure with most people who do this ending up blind but still alive
