Creepy crawlies

As I posted earlier, this is my first night in the hotel, and I think I just killed a tick.
I was about to turn off the lights when I saw a small bug crawling on the pillow next to me (the sheets are very white here). It was hard to crush, but when I finally did, there was blood.
Sigh. It's going to be a long night.

Ticks are terrifying
So sorry you had to waste energy dealing with one of those demons while you're already in a stressed-out frame of mind.

It can be annoying to have an insect trapped in the room, the ones I find irritating are those that fly and make noises. It can be frustrating waiting for it to fly outside. I'm sorry you had to deal with that. Long nights can be depressing, I do not like it when time passes too slowly. I wish you the best.

Those are annoying. This room is free of flying bugs thankfully. I haven't seen anymore bugs since.

I hope it is a tick and not a bed bug. Check the mattress thoroughly!

Both are bad. I've had dogs so I've killed ticks before. I haven't seen anymore bugs since. And yes, bedbugs are bad, I hadn't thought of that. But given that I plan to die here, I have to ask myself, does it matter?
