Hello,

Is there a reliable way to cover N taste (it'd be the vet type)?

My idea is to dilute it with alcohol and chug it at once, but not sure if it is a good idea. Also considered having honey before, to cover the tongue.

I don't know about that. Alcohol is unpleasant on its own.

I think I'm going to go with the neotame. People say it's sickeningly sweet. It probably is but I have a high tolerance for sweetness. At the end of the day we want to be as comfortable as possible but it will only be a few minutes of suffering the taste.

I think before because the taste of neotame apparently lingers for hours after. It's like a stronger alternative to honey.

Interesting. I have been hesitant to take SN because of its very salty taste. Thats a good idea.

Neotame is strong but actually bitter if used in larger than recommended quantities.

Is the taste of N really as bad as people say it is?

I think it depends on the person's sensitivity to taste. Some were able to drink it without masking the taste.

I don't think neotame is superior to any other sweetener, in spite of its potency. These sweeteners tend to be bitter if you use them in excess. Both Neotame and stevia are bitter when put directly on the tongue….I tried them both :pfff:

I think if you mix N with alcohol you may risk vomiting it

I think the benefit of neotame in theory is that it can be used in such small amounts as to not add volume to the 200ml N.

OP do a little search on the forum. There's a consensus that adding anything in volume to N just creates a laeger amount of horrible liquid to drink.

I know, but 1/4 teaspoonful of stevia isn't going to make that much of a difference volume wise vs 1/100 teaspoonful of Neotame to achieve similar sweetness. In any case, just don't use too much of these sweeteners as theyll taste bitter. 5% the volume of a green pea of Neotame is more than enough to sweeten a shot of espresso!

This. I think the smarter thing to do would be to chug the N down fast. I have been practising to down 200ml of various fluids quickly.

When I'm ready - ill just chug the N and wash it down with some coke.
