• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Yesterday I noticed my DNS settings were blocking SaSu, so I wrote Control D's support about this.
Within 24h they got back to me with this:

Thanks for contacting Control D Support.

Our blocklists are built from a variety of sources, and sometimes we encounter false positives, like this example you've presented today. We have a very vocal community of users who let us know when they encounter these instances.

I've removed the site from our ad blocking list (for reference, it was only found in the "strict" version of our ad blocker; both balanced and relaxed had no issue loading the site). The changes will be reflected in the next hour.

There is no attempt at censorship here outside of the blocking of ads.
Pretty nice huh?
So there are definitely companies out there that aren't all about censorship.
