This is my theory about what is going on with all the new members and odd questions and requests.
A group somewhere, a large group, have decided to declare war on this site, DMC and us.
In March they publicised to their members that they were going to try to infiltrate Sasu with the express purpose of taking this site down and collecting evidence against DMC.
So many of them tried to become members that Sasu crashed for 24hours. But many of them got in.
Many of them have easily spotted names which appear to have been made up quickly with no thought.
The fake members ask things like:
"what exactly did DMC say to you on Whatsapp" (Whatsapp is encrypted but they can get metadata so they can connect me on here with incriminating words said by DMC, if those words had been messaged, which obviously they weren't).
Repeated requests to a Sasu member to upload their Ring footage (to identify where the member lives exactly).
Persistent and different from usual requests for links to DMC, or links to the new shop. Sometimes combined with unbelievable statements of how they've already seen or used the old shop.
They have unbelievable back stories.
They spread stories about welfare checks to spread fear both for having sn and particularly against purchasing it from DMC (there is one welfare check story I believe, but none of the others).
Everything about them doesn't ring true.
I will assume anyone who joined Sasu in March 2025 is one of these people and will treat their requests and questions accordingly.
I'd advise all Sasu members to treat newly joined members with caution too.

Agree with @Darkover. Although we should be wary of unwanted people, in my opinion it's very impolite to treat every new member as a potential imposter. Yesterday I had to prove to a lot of members that I'm NOT a cop. It's exhausting, really.

I had to change my avatar and text because I'm afraid that my pro-life friends lurk here, by the way. We're in the same boat.

I understand your sentiment, and there's also a lot more guests than in the past few months, which is fishy, but it's worth keeping in mind that people are more suicidal in spring than in other seasons, so they could be real people too.
Or maybe some article/video has popped up somewhere and we're not aware of it. Or both.

Sometimes truth is even more fantastic than most twisted conspiracy theory so i wouldn't dismiss your concerns with "delusions" branding but then again, things you mentioned do have logical explanations so entering state of panic seems also unwise.
I agree that treating every new SaSu member as suspicious element is nearly as rude as calling your concerns delusions. Especially given that this is supposed to be safe haven for troubled ones and upholding hostility towards them from the very beginning them is not a way.
I'd rather go against specific cases than new users in general. If someone posts some "too personal" questions regarding anyone's personal communication or requests personal videos, you can always report them and surely mods will make short work of them.

You're not a pos. I thought your original post made a sensible point, whether it is true or not that we have recently acquired a lot of hostile members. Caution is always warranted. But we can't just ignore everyone who arrived recently, or treat them badly. The way I would handle this is to treat all new members well, but think even more carefully than usual if I respond to them.

If it's any consolation I don't think you're delusional and with the whole UK situation going on it's not even that far fetched.

Really, you're gonna let a couple asinine comments from someone chase you away? For the record, I'm in agreement with you for about 85 - 90% of what you said. We all know that anti-choicers want to take down SaSu. How well orchestrated it is, idk. Did too many of these anti-choicers joining SaSu overwhelm the server, idk that either.

This is all just too much, I don't know what I would do if anything happens to sasu, at least in the near future until I depart. I was a member back in 2017 when it started but shyed away until I was ready to try ctb again, so I joined again this year and within a short time I was able to research/learn and get what I needed to finally ctb. Back then SN wasn't ever mentioned (as far as I can remember) and now theres many post on the subject, I have a feeling all the SN orders and people who have already ctb is the reason the pro lifers are infiltrating this forum, or trying too. It's all a big shame, for the government to catch on. Where the hell are people supposed to turn to in their darkest hours/days. if not for sasu.
