I'm fairly young but also completely done with life. I plan on slitting my wrists/legs- I have done lots of research to ensure it will be effective, and hope to do so in the coming few days. Is anyone else planning an attempt soon, or have any advice as I have a history of self harm but have never attempted before, and I am a bit anxious about it.

I think that I would personally never go for this method, it sounds very painful, risky and unreliable, but I understand being desperate to leave. I also feel like I am done with life but unfortunately I have no plans to attempt soon as the fear of failing ctb means that I am trapped in this world. I hope that you find relief from your suffering in whatever you decide to do.

First time I have heard of cutting the legs... plz tell me more. I agree with the last person in that I feel done with this life but afraid when trying to ctb it won't work. The energy to go thru with it is hugh.. I've tried b4 od on tablets etc

I read today of a serial killer who cut the femoral artery.

I don't think I could do this method, but it probably is quite quick and effective if you cut deep enough.
I just read it's maybe 30 seconds to unconsciousness and minutes to death if no-one finds you. Also perhaps less deep than artery in wrist so easier?

I know that the method isn't ideal but i'm not sure what else to do- the only other option being paracetamol overdose

there are major arteries on the legs around the upper thigh area, ive never tried to od as im not sure where to get substances from. im 18 from uk :)
