  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Anyone else ever spend a few days or a few months absolutely certain you're going to ctb and then, when you realize you aren't going to, all the things you didn't deal with at the time come rushing back? All the paperwork and adulting and things that are only important if you have a future still need to be done, but now you're behind on them so they're even more daunting? Could I get advice/thoughts on dealing with that?

It is hard. It does seem impossible when you're getting started. But it's a good distraction while you're dealing with it.

You've got this, I hope

When I'm feeling overwhelmed I try to reduce the scope of what I'm worried about. If a task is complex, I list out actionable steps I can take, or I try to put together a reasonable schedule for it. If I have too many tasks to keep in my head, I try to list them out (maybe with a time estimate). Actioning those lists is the difficult part, but having them has been a good start. Some things can be dropped entirely with an email or phone call.
