Help Combining OD and hanging?

My method is ODing on a mix of CNS depressants but I thought maybe hanging as a back up plan would make my chances better to get the job done. Like taking all the meds, then just put the rope over my head and wait till I black out. If the OD won't to the job surely the rope will, right?
I read somewhere here on the forum that combining methods is not a good idea? What do you think about it?

You could mess up the settings, and be worst than it needed to.

Do you mean like weel worse? Or have a worse outcome?
