holy shit I'm so bad at this LMAO, everything id is just bad and im easily the slowest person in my major but i dont know what else to do I can't go back home and i cant stay here, i want to stay past the first semester but the way things are going, i dont know. i dont know. im beyond just stupid at this and genuinely I'm just tiredm i would articulate more but i have no time for anything anymore besides constant catch up

Since you're in your first semester, I assume you're 18?

Look, college is already difficult as it's, but struggling with negative emotions will make it even more difficult if not even impossible.

I regret not working on my emotions, and not seeking help earlier since I discovered I'm autistic and gave ADHD too.

If you haven't tried to seek help, please do, if you are struggling with ADHD, stimulants might make things easier for you.

depression slows us all down mentally. don't beat yourself up too much about it. give yourself some grace, you can go at your own pace. it's hypocritical i won't take my own advice but.. yk… it's kinda true that life isn't a race. we aren't meant to be competing with each other. it's okay to be behind others, it's not a value judgement.

are your grades actually failing or are you just getting bs and cs while others get a's? have you gotten d's and f's on lots of tests? do you know why? is it a math issue or study skill issue, are the tests too hard?

often people who go to good schools, and graduate at the low end of the class, still end up doing well in life, at least sometimes.

Me too, and because of it I haven't been able to do things, like eating, or self-care. I don't think you're bad at it. College is similiar to school or jobs or any other facilities. They are not mindful of those who can't work the exact same schedule. Do you have disability accomodations? If not, I highly recommend getting one, so you can get more time on your assignments, breaks, and whatever else you need. I never got mine because there's just so much going on all the time, I forget to take care of things. I missed the chance to change my major and while it would be nice if the college could just have empathy and let me in, the administration here are very much sticklers.

Hope you get accomodations or anything. I feel the same too about not wanting to go home but not wanting to stay either. My third option is leaving everything and going homeless or train hopping, which at first sounds freeing but I know it's far from easy. I don't know what else can be done in terms of where to go. I wish I could just live on a commune, there are some places where anarchists live but they are far and money is required to contribute or anything really. I hope you catch a break, holidays are coming up, so soon you will be able to stop for a little while.
