Help Cocktail recommendations/your favourite drink

Wanted some cocktail recommendations to make tomorrow, which would be (optimally) relatively easy to make/cheap. Said to myself might as well ask here.

In passing tell me your guys favourite drink and how you like it prepared specifically.

I rarely drink alcohol, so the only drink I know that is very common in my country is "Caipirinha".

Ingredients:

• 1 lime
• 2 tsp white sugar (adjust to taste)
• 60 ml (2 oz) cachaça (Brazilian sugarcane liquor. Vital. Use rum if you can't find it, but it won't be authentic).
• Crushed or cubed ice

Instructions:

1. Wash the lime. Cut off the ends, then cut it into 8 wedges.
2. Put the lime wedges and sugar in a sturdy short glass.
3. Muddle (crush) hard to smash the lime and release all the juice and oils from the peel.
4. Fill the glass with ice.
5. Pour the cachaça over the ice.
6. Stir well to mix everything. Enjoy.

Keep it simple. Don't be gentle when muddling. Use cachaça.

Oh I love that actually. That's going on my list, I'll tell you how I like it. Hope I can find cachaça, maybe. If not I'll either get rhum, or I think they have sugarcane liquor here but just not called cachaça would it work as substitute?

The important thing is a distilled drink that isn't bitter. Cachaça is a distilled sugarcane spirit that has a slightly sweet alcohol taste. If what you have is a bit sweet, that already helps a lot.

i used to chase red bull with vodka because it helped to ingest better i never really tried mixing it only vodka with juice and that came out awful blehh

Haha I was raised mixing my drinks (always ended up 80% alcohol 20% whatever else) but I recently tried with a chaser and it's definitely more enjoyable

exactly lol its not burning your throat to the ground and the taste of the chaser overpowers the bitterness of alcohol

After depends the alcohol, I wouldn't waste whiskey with a chaser. But cheap vodka? Perfection.

i have been contemplating to say fuck it and go on a drinking binge because i have nothing to lose but some weird part of me dont want to give up on life yet

A drinking binge will probably not end your life. But will definitely make it more complicated, you might make choices that leave you worse off then now. If you don't wanna give up, hold into that. I wish you peace.

thanks. i guess it wont but alcohol really helps with anxiety. i wish i could get my hands on benzos

I'm a basic girl who likes fruit tingles :) Usually you can't really go wrong with that.

Aviation. I make them light on the violette and with Hendrick's; it comes out grayer than purple which suits the name, imo. And a brandied cherry, not a reg cancer maraschino because those are gross.

Also martinezes and gimlets. I like gin, obviously
