im gonna use 3kg of charcoal for this and i have a few questions, maybe some of them have already been answered multiple times in here so i'm sorry about not reading enough i guess.
1-Will a bucket be ok to put the things in or do i have to use something else?
2-i plan on burning the coal and letting the smoke go away before getting it in the room, is there a color or something that i can see that tells me when is better to get them inside.
3-if theres a smoke detector or CO detector thing at the hotel am i screwed?
4-Can i do cocaine while i do the method or is that gonna interfere?

5- the hotel is small but im gonna do it in a bathroom , is there gonna be a smell of like smoke thats noticeable outside?

6-what can i use to burn the coal?, is nafta ok to use ?

Sorry if the questions are kinda stupid
IMG 20260224 WA0011 that's a picture of the bathroom in the room , i'm not there yet, is something i got online, i hope is as small as it looks like

More an issue than smoke/CO/fire alarms is the chance you're going to end up harming, even killing, innocent people in other rooms. CO is no good to do where others can be harmed.

How could that even happen if im using a small ammount of coal on a locked room , i also plan on sealing any kind of ventilation that might be there, i'll make sure theres also nothing flamable near my stuff, is coal not a gas tank :/

I was thinking about the charcoal method, but it's a lot of headaches with that. I would have to find a single small house without any people or get a tent and look for that stupid place no one will go to so I won't get found. Remote places are more expensive as well and I don't want to spend a lot on a stupid place.
I don't consider this option anymore because I cannot find a normal place. I wouldn't do it in a hotel.

It'll find ways to seep out. It's about impossible to seal anything 100%. CO could still be lingering in the room when someone finds you. Not sure what you mean by "small amount", but it will take a certain amount to do it right. Guessing as to how much to use isn't the best idea, imo. CO is my method and when I go, I'll be using an entire bag, or nearly so, to make sure I reach, and maintain, a high level, and to make up for any leakage. And that will be in a small tent.

I know i cant keep 100% of it inside only one room, but i don't think is likely that it would be dangerous to others , because the bathroom is inside a room and then if the CO seeps through it would go to that room (that's going to be empty) and outside of that there's still the hall so i really don't see how it would cause any great harm to anyone else. If i'm in the wrong tell me and also i can't afford one of those tents made of like a good material , so the hotel room is kinda my only option.

Can you get an Airbnb? CO is less dense than air and won't just stay in one place. Plus there are vents in the room connected to all over the building so yes it will spread to other rooms. Even if you did it in a garage connected to a house it would spread to the other rooms. That's why you should do it in a house where you'll be alone and leave a sign on the front advising the danger if someone arrives.

I don't think there are vents in that bathroom

All I'm going to say to this is that entire families have succumbed to CO poisoning due to faulty furnaces and plugged up chimneys.

I know that , that's why i'm trying to explain how the whole thing is going to be set up in a way that prevents that from happening

You can't. Humans are not perfect. You're not perfect. It's always the "unknown unknowns" that get you.

any alternatives then? if i'm going to fail inevitably and kill all people near me how do you propose i do it at all.
Idk. In a different place without the possibility of others around? I don't know what all your circumstances are.

The way I'll be doing my set-up is in a tent in a garage. I live alone, though, so no concerns about anyone coming home and finding me. I'm also going to put up a large sign warning of CO that's visible right when someone enters the door. Because I live alone and there's no one to find me, I plan on sending a letter off to my local police telling them what I've done, where I am, explaining why I've had to resort to sending them a note, that kind of thing. I'm SURE they will take the note as suspicious, AS THEY SHOULD, and I'm sure that when they (hopefully) come and investigate, they will have to go "through the motions" of investigating, as if they are being set-up in some type of ambush, or similar. But, it should all work out. In the note I'll lay out for them what they're going to see when they open the door. The way I figure it is if I mail the note Saturday night, the EARLIEST that they could receive it is Monday, and they probably won't get it until Tuesday or Wednesday. I'll ctb that same Saturday night. By that time, the coals will have all burned out and the CO will have dissipated. Still, they'll act with caution, as they were made aware of what was going on. That's the best I can come up with based on my (life) circumstances. I'm not out to cause any injury to anyone other than myself. If, for whatever reason, the police don't come and investigate, once my mailbox starts overflowing with the mail, the mail delivery person, I imagine, will report that and contact authorities. Or, I'll just start stinking and a neighbor will notice it and report it.

Well i live with my family and i don't really know where else i could do it besides the hotel , but now that i'm looking more into it i think I'm considering saving money and buying the tent, only thing i need now is a place to put it without anyone bothering me, good luck with your plan

Hey i've been looking more into using a tent for it and i found this one , do you think it's good enough. I'll seal the vents with something obviously. Screenshot 20260303 202936
