Hi, I'm currently looking for a way to exit, and the options I'm considering are: CO, CO2, SN.

All of them have issues.. it's so freaking hard to find a method thats effective + painless(or painful for only seconds) + easy to obtain.

CO2 seems to be the easiest method but I read in here that I might have a panic alert and rip out the bag. I definitely don't want to fail or retry anything, once is enough. And I think I can bear seconds of pain if everything finally ends, but if it's like PAINFUL painful, I'm backing out.

CO seems okay I guess..? Seems very peaceful. But there were some posts here that said they failed and their eyes were watery and overall not what I expect. Some used tents but as I'm planning to end in my room that's not possible. And frankly CO seems way more complicated than CO2?? I don't know if that's bc I haven't done enough research but CO2 is just mixing some liquids than putting a plastic bag over my head whereas for CO I need a PPM meter and make sure of no leaks(my room is 3279x3240x2400mm and has a window). Also, I live in an apartment. Are the smoke detectors going to be a problem? I don't think I read any cases abt this but this just occurred to me.

I live with my family and I really want the gas to harm no one. That's my biggest concern with gases. Interruptions are not going to be a problem though.

SN seems like the perfect method, but unfortunately I live in South Korea where apparently, everything is illegal. I actually bought a bottle of Amazon during COVID but my mum got to it before me and flushed it down the drain. After COVID the government has made SN illegal due to too many suicides and it's literally impossible to buy one here unless ur using darkweb.. but I'm not good with those kind of sites..

Can anyone confirm or correct me? Thank you!!

PS. is there a Korean site or a platform like SS?

Recovery from CO2 poisoning is likely the fastest and easiest amongst the mentioned options. Excess of carbon dioxide in the body will be eliminated through the lungs within seconds to 3 minutes, whereas replacing carboxyhemoglobin (from CO) or methemoglobin (from nitrite) with normal hemoglobin takes quite a while. CO and nitrite poisonings often require treatment in a hospital.

CO poisoning can also be done with a plastic bag over the head and without measuring the concentration when a proper source of the gas is used. Making good-quality CO via a chemical reaction is generally harder than making CO2 though. Some methods of CO preparation need filtering out acidic fumes, some methods require heating the reactants, and some methods need both heating and filtering.

CO2 is safe for people who find you, unless you release it into the room in gigantic amounts.
