Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Choosing painful methods

I'm wondering what drives some people to choose methods that are potentially more painful or disfigure their corpse such as jumping from a high place or using a gun or a car crash? Is a matter of convenience or something else, and what if so?
I considered some painful ways to die (fire, acid) but if I had access to N I don't think I would have a second thought. It's just out of desperation to die and overcome SI by any means necessary. I thought that crushing my nails or similar might give me the incentive I needed to finally ctb. N just seems like such an ideal option that it'd be enough to overcome SI by itself. Knowing that I can just drink it and drift away forever. I could try to make myself believe I'm curing my insomnia by overdosing on it, since never being able to sleep is aggravating enough.

I think because for some people a short period of time of more intense pain is qworeth going through to avoid a much longer period of time that is still very painful with no real hope in it. Many people here would take pain of 8 on a scale of 10 for a hour if it meant they could leave the rest of the pain in their life behind.
I'm pretty sure that most people would use N if they had that option available for them. Those with N are very lucky, it sounds like the best way to ctb. I think that people choose painful methods basically as they have limited access to methods and all that they want is to be gone. Many are likely very desperate. The society does everything to try to force people to live and people are denied methods like N, so they basically have no choice but to resort to horrible and risky methods to be able to be free from this life. Suicide really shouldn't be so stigmatised, none of us should have to suffer so much as we leave this world. It's just so cruel and unfair how people want to take away methods. If it was easier to leave I would already be gone.
