Try putting the rope below your adam's apple and apply a lot of pressure really quick, that way I can make myself faint with no pain at all. Let me know if it works for you

Did you hang yourself hard when you tried? If it was gently maybe it's some ptsd flashbacks. The subconscious might be asking not to? I feel choked from chemical allergic reactions & want to finish myself off... So I do but not from a rope. I tested pants, they do choke, but I don't feel the effect anymore. I just pulled up with my hand. It was harder than expected. Partial hanging might be harder than I hoped. Unless I pass out in gravity's embrace

I held myself back from passing out completely because I was afraid the rope would kill me right there. I simply tied the rope to a doorknob (without running it through the top of the door) and put a slipknot around my neck. I knelt down and leaned my body forward. I didn't feel like my head was about to explode so I know I was pressing on the right arteries, I fell into a wall and felt like passing out in a matter of seconds. Maybe a minute.
I'm going to use full but I don't know how to test it safely.

I was just testing if I had the right spot on my neck, with no intention of dying right there.If you pass out with full, you're already dead, if you pass out with partial, as long as your body is leaning forward, you're dead in 30 minutes or less.
The important thing is to apply enough pressure on the carotid arteries
