What if you inhale an object that will get stuck in the trachea? It would have to be big enough that it would completely block the trachea and not allow any air to pass through. I'm thinking maybe a large marble or large piece of hard candy

Too many variables, also sounds pretty painful. If I was considering this I'd probably just go with hanging or night night instead.

Oh god, how successful this would be I'm not sure but it doesn't sound like a pleasant way to go...:ahhha:

Geez... If that's what it's come to I'd Really hope you reconsider to a different method. Best of luck in your journey to Ctb. ❤️

Not a nice way to go at all, gasping for air, not being able to breathe at all, panic setting in, trying to fight the SI. No thanks. There are other more peaceful and effective methods that you can do, don't torture yourself anymore than you have to.

@Thinking my dear, that seems like ultra-unreliable and quite likely to damage your trachea while it's hurting you a lot. Please don't do that. x

Painful and scary. Your body would panic and try to dislodge it. If you're willing to endure that level of pain and fear might as well drown or hang.

A couple weeks ago I started choking on a piece of food and automatically tried to dislodge it. Obviously I was successful. Afterward, I laughed at how I could potentially have got on the bus but went immediately into survival mode. If someone was trying, though, they might be able to overcome the SI, there are people who drown themselves and suffocate/asphyxiate themselves, so I don't think it's impossible.

It's not impossible, but it seems like it'd be a very distressing way to go
