I am not sure if I am quite in recovery however I know I need to manage my feelings better now whatever is in my future
i am very prone to catastrophising and I am looking for resources people have found success with to manage this please. I had a look at the pinned resources and maybe I just wasn't looking right but couldn't see anything specifically about catastrophising
I'm struggling to lock in with techniques as they seem to focus on distraction from the worry, i need ways to support myself to understand how ridiculous the catastrophising is and self soothe that way. Unfortunately I have no one in my life personally I can safely share my catastrophic thoughts with to tell me I'm being ridiculous. So self help i have to go for.
Please don't suggest professional care to me as this is not possible at this time.
