• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I've read a lot of information about how exactly to go about burning charcoal in order to produce CO. As far as I can tell: you leave the charcoal to burn outside until it's grey ash and then bring it into a (sealed) room, and just wait. Is it really that simple, or have I missed something?

If this is wrong and you know how it's really done, I would love to hear from you.

Thanks so much, x

Should be... but it's not it seems. There are plenty failed attempts. But you have the idea correct. Read some stories when the search function comes back up. Search using CO.., you'll get lots of posts to read. Start with the CO megathread in the resource section if you haven't already.
