Yesterday I connected the muffler to the car cabin with a clothes dryer flexible tube and sealed all the gaps.

I spent two hours inside with the engine on and no a/c only to get a terrible buzz, no death.

What did I do wrong?

Since you have a car, I did some googling. It's apparently possible to remove it.

I know jack shit about cars, however.
However, if I kinda-sorta understand this removal tutorial, you should be able to do it in no time!
Alternatively, invest in a pre 1975 car.

Unless your car is pre-1980, its more modern computer-controlled fuel delivery system probably means it runs too clean for ctb even without the cat.converter.

jesus christ! I googled the price for 1975 cars! I'm not sure how much £3,659 is, but considering google calls it "eye watering", it doesn't sound nice on the wallet.
