I know that the car accident method is not liked on this forum but listen to this: 120 km/h into a rock without a seatbelt is an almost certain death, and on top of that the accident would involve only you and no one else. I find this method incredible because it is 100% painless as unconsciousness occurs in a fraction of a second before the brain even has time to interpret a sensation of pain.

If anyone sees drawbacks to this method, I would like to hear them.

I am thinking this but against a tree. I have a stupidly fast bmw but it's modern (2019) and due to the safety features am hesitant. On the other hand, 70-80mph to a complete stop should be catastrophic for your internal organs especially if unbelted.

120 km/h into a rock without a seatbelt is an almost certain death
That requires finding a rock (or tree, pillar, ect) that is accessible from the road, one that doesn't have other barriers in the way like a ditch or a road railing or greenery that would slow your momentum, ideally one not too close to the road so that the debris from the wreck doesn't present a risk to other drivers. And, ideally, it's at a time where no one is present to witness the accident and be traumatized by it.

Car accident is also my preferred method for life insurance reasons, but it's surprisingly difficult to find something that's crash-into-able that's drive-into-able with few witnesses and without destroying other property first, at least where I live.

I'm thinking about this too, but are you sure it's painless and certain death?

I don't want to end up in a hospital.

This will work against a sturdy structure that doesn't bend at all. Like a concrete wall or some strong rocks. You would need enough distance to accelerate properly. If the car get obliterated, you won't survive. But the risk of failing and ending up with injuries scares me the most about this type of method. Modern cars are better at saving you.

A tree would be better than a wall which could collapse.

Leaving aside the decent chance this wouldn't work (small deviation meaning you get seriously injured nor killed) insurance companies hate paying out. A full speed crash where the car is going absolutely straight ahead with no attempt to avoid would look highly suspicious. And then they get a court order for your devices and find you've made this post ..

I was thinking about this method too but people brought up good points. It's not a good method for several reasons. If you end up swerving or anything it could be disastrous for you and you could end up worse off. SI is extremely hard to beat, and if yours kicks in at the last minute and you hit the breaks or try to avoid the rock, you could once again survive and end up in a way worse position than you are now. I think it's a good method but you have to be 100% sure you can beat SI, which I don't think anyone can be sure of. Your body does crazy things when in survival mode. I wouldn't go this route
