Venting Can't look at my face (I'm ugly)

I'm not disfigured thankfully I'm just casually ugly. Normally I'm fine but today I was forced to take some photos of my face and smile. None of the photos seem fine. I actually need 1 photo but all are wrong therefore I'm retaking them and I'm forced to look at my fuckin face which is ugly. And now I've been suicidal today only bc I had to actually look at myself. I wish I was beautiful I'm AFAB so you know it kinda matters I'm sure men/men-assigned people need good looks too but women especially. Yeah it isn't a serious problem but my mood got totally ruined fuck this shit.

I'm no prize... but pictures of me always look worse than actual me. Pictures are literally unnatural. They capture a freeze-frame that most people never see of you. Pause a video of the prettiest person you know and most of the time you will get something awkward. I don't know if thinking of that helps, but it is truth.,

My pictures always turn out like garbage but I look normal in the mirror. I think cameras literally distort your face, especially the front phone camera. Even celebrities look better in professional photos than selfie ones.

Thanks yeah mirror makes my face less ugly but people see the damn photos not the mirror I wonder what they gonna think of me

I'm not saying I've never been self-conscious, because I have been... especially when I was a kid. Ultimately, though, I came to terms with the fact that I look how I look. I could lose weight, and I have, but even when I was at my absolute best shape and was young, none of that had any effect on how I was treated by others.

I look how I look, whether I like it or not. I don't always know how much I weigh, but people can see me so there would be no point in lying to try and obscure it if I did know... bottom line, I don't think I've ever been disliked or rejected because of how I looked. I could be wrong about that, but even so it's not like I could change it anyway.

When I go out I shower and comb my hair (or get a crew cut so I don't have to comb it) and I dress myself for two reasons: 1. Primarily for my own comfort. and 2. So people don't see me naked. That's it. If people don't like how I look they don't have to look at me. IF you can get there, then bad pictures don't really sting anymore.

Im no model.. im 46 with more wrinkles than a 4 day old shirt at the bottom of the washing basket.. i despise having my photo taken.. it not me it an still frame of me it doesnt ahow who i am.. plus if i atand near a mirror during a photo i give the camera glare from bald spot.. unfortunatly these days qe live in a world of selfies and insta bollocks... juat be be you a tell any one to fuck em self if they dont like it its there problem ...never yours.
