• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I joined a Discord server for mental health but I hate that I can't be open about my feelings and thoughts of CTB.

The second you express suicidal thoughts everyone loses their minds. Next thing is all kinds of people reaching out, visits from cops, and hospitalization.

I can't even tell people close to me. Their automatic response is you should go to the hospital. They aren't being asked to solve it, but they can't just listen and witness my feelings.

Like, the expression of suicidal thoughts just brings even MORE discomfort and desire to escape.

It is very frustrating when others judge instead of listening. I also can't talk about how I am feeling to one including the therapist I have. They would send me straight to the ward. It is sad we are not even allowed to express ourselves without this fear

I do wish that we lived in a world where suicide is not so stigmatised. Wanting suicide in a world like this can be perfectly rational so people should be able to talk about it openly without the fear of negative consequences. I feel like many others simply do not understand as they are not suicidal themselves. It is sad how it has to be this way, our right to die should be respected instead of suicide being seen as always something wrong that must be prevented.
