Can you overdose on antidepressants like: Mirtazapine, Lamictal and Zeldox?

You can overdose on anything. Whether that will result in death is another matter.

Okay. Sorry for that. In actuality I believe TCAs are the only antidepressants that can reliably cause death, in the appropriately high doses.

I had originally planned to take a sufficiantly high dose of Duloxetine (above 1000mg) together with alcohol, which according to the Internet should be able to induce coma, but various posts here have dissuaded me by now, saying the success rate isn't very high. Really sucks because I have easy access to large amounts of it atm..

Both SSRI and SNRI can be lethal in high doses but it won't be fast and definitely not a pleasant way to go.

I tried a few weeks ago. I took about 90 2mg Xanax and washed it all down with booze. I thought for sure I'd be gone. Instead I ended up not even passing out. Like a dumb ass I started texting my friends goodbye. One of them called 911. Woke up in a hospital, there for 3 days then a mental institution for a week. $2000 ambulance bill with more coming. Wasn't my first attempt but I am a failure at it. Too scared to try anything else for fear of becoming brain dead or worse. So unfortunately I like many others are forced to live out our days just hoping something natural happens to us and takes us away from this rat race. Last year I had a heart attack and was told my arteries were all 95% closed at 49 years old. They said I needed open heart immediately but I choose stents. I don't think I have much longer if god would just hurry up and take me away from all this suffering.
