can the police in the uk confiscate my SN if they do a welfare check
you would think that because it's not illegal to own that they wouldent have any authority
to seizes it

A welfare check is different than a search, unless you have it in your hands when they ask you if your okay, than you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Unless you go around telling everyone you intend to CTB, or use Sodium Nitrite to harm yourself, there shouldn't be any reason they'd even come by.

i know that i will end up telling my mum that i've bought SN because i talk to her everyday on the phone, she get worried and ring the police and they come and do a welfare check
obviously the police will also of been informed that i have sn so i wondering if they can confiscate it

There was at some point seizures happening in the UK. I think people were ordering off of eBay or something in the police were showing up to their house I'm not sure if they were confiscating it or not though. There's information about it somewhere on the forum.
