I thought it was supposed to have a yellow tint, but it's white like table salt.

It looks fully white under some types of light I think. You should test to be sure
Stan's guide says it can range from bright white to yellowish. I did the blood test and it turned brown.

So it is in fact SN. At least some of it. Do a test with aquarium strips if you want to know the purity.Similar threads
