Wills are important, at least naming someone you trust as Executor to carry out your wishes. Search Will creating online, there are lots of free sites. You fill in information and it creates a will specifically for your state or country. Be sure to personally sign it. Depending on where you live, you may need witnesses but maybe not. Even without witnesses, the Will should be prove valid unless you have a large, complicated estate with significant assets where people might be fighting for a piece.

If you don't leave a will, you will die intestate, meaning your possessions will go to your next of kin, in other words, closest living relative, who may not be the person you want it to go to.
