Can anyone criticize/review my possible future ctb plans?

So I don't know if this plan is right or not but in case my recovery fails which I'm starting already to believe, I'm planning on wanting to go try to hike a mountain range near where I live and do it there. My method will be SN so I don't know if it would be wise or not to hike with it in case of weather and the possibility of moisture or any other unknowns. Especially considering when my backpack is full of gear and stuff it will be kinda hot. I don't know if I should bring a camping gear like a tent so people won't stumble onto a dead body or something. Or thinking of bringing food just in case I back out. Is there anything you know that would help? I'm just brainstorming and I am going through an emotional time right now so if my plan sounds stupid as fuck just tell me.

I was skeptical when you said hike but you did mention a tent. Regardless, it seems better to do so in a hotel. Your body will be found regardless of what place you choose and it could be found better in a hotel instead of just stinking in a tent until someone happens across it. If a hiking view is really important to you, maybe. Otherwise maybe look into day use hotel.

I've thought about it but honestly I have to do this before I die. I just have to and want to. I already spent the past few years bedridden living on a bed and I don't want to die like that especially in a shitty hotel. I want to do this before I die and atleast I get to do something I atleast loved. Is that so hard to ask? I don't care how my body is found I want to die with a view. I can't explain it but those mountains are calling me.

You're allowed to leave however you like. My own preferences are not yours, what I would do is not inherently what you should. If you want to do so hiking, you are allowed obviously.

It does not sound stupid as fuck, at all. You're doing it on your own terms. A nice view on a mountain sure beats being alone in a hotel room staring at four walls. A tent sounds like a good idea, people who pass by will probably think you are sleeping

Yeah definitely not stupid. I'd like to go in nature as well. The only concern I have is that I feel like being out in nature, however secluded, has more opportunity for intervention.

It would be hard for me to put myself into a sleeping state with SN or N, and not be worried that someone might find me before I die. Also there is the uncertainty of weather etc..

Would be sweet AF to go to a nice sunset/sunrise though for sure.

I'll probably book a hotel if I go. I think a nice secluded airbnb would be my ideal, but I can't help but feel guilty about tainting someone's personal abode, even if it is a business.

I feel the same. I'd love to get shitfaced and drown in a pool. But I have no pool. Briefly considered getting an Airbnb but like you just feel too guilty.

Yeah.. I've had some vague ideas of getting messy and drowning in the sea. I live near it, but I just can't think of a definite way to die there whilst being sure i'm not going to be interrupted and/or suffer more than I need to. Also at some point my body would be found, and I would hate to feel like I might ruin a place that is so calming for someone else.

Guilt's a bitch! But I guess we have it for a reason.

A chain hotel seems like the most logical to me, with that aim to set some kind of warning at the door so when someone does come in, they hopefully won't see me and know to call in a professional to deal with my body. Obviously there's still potential for trauma there but I can't think of a better alternative.

In Stan's guide, it mentioned that it is recommended to fast. I don't know how long your hike is but if you can manage without eating then I don't see the problem.
