Hey all!

I'm glad I found this forum and had the opportunity to get to talk to you all. I'm just creating a thread to talk about my last months and how I'm progressing from Point A to Point B. Feel free to respond should you so choose; ofc, no obligation to do so.

I've seen a number of posters CTB while I was lurking and since I've joined. I wish them all peace, and hope to join them soon.

My SN arrived today and that's a major milestone. I'm happy that it's here and a tiny bit sad b/c I've failed at life. I'm looking forward to getting everything else together. According to my timeline (yes, I'm a planner) I should be ready to CTB in less than 2 months.

I really hope that when the time comes that I can talk to a few of you IRT via text on this site as I pass. Another poster earlier today said it best: society's prejudice against suicide robs us all, to where we die alone without the comfort of human companionship. I don't want that, but if I must CTB alone, then so be it.

Anyways, just wanted to say hi. I'll post again soon.

Not yet. I'll go to a local clinic and feign nausea, then say that I've had it in the past and a specific AE seemed to work.

It's ok Al; glad to have found this site. The NYT article may have been hell for the site and mods, but it was a god send for me. Silver linings, I suppose.

TY FC! I am relieved to get the SN TBH; they pulled the product down shortly after I ordered it. At least I know I have the main ingredient.

Still have to get the AE's lined up along with my EOL plans. That shouldn't take too long but I'm in no rush. I made a plan and I'm making progress. It's all I can hope for.
I spent the last 24 hours working and reflecting on why I need to do next. SN was the major hurdle; now that the SN is safely in my possession, I need to finish:

— revising my will and trust;
— changing my life insurance policies' beneficiaries;
— opening a bank account in the trust's name;
— handwriting my notes (there's a lot!);
— getting my AEs; and
— booking a hotel room for privacy.

I'm hoping I can knock 1-2 items off of the list every week.
