My flooding was because an upstairs neighbor had their water heater fail last week. And the water came into my ceiling and walls.
They needed to cut holes and blow air in to prevent mold

I don't have any notifications set up, but I check the thread pretty regularly. It really depends on the day though, sometimes the count moves pretty slowly
