Im a manga reader, so I already knew what was going to happen ofc but wow. If youre on the fence with seeing it in theatre or waiting for it to come out on stream, just go see it. Ufotable cooked per usual animation wise.
I still want to bitch and moan about how this series fucking hates its female mains. Spoilers ahead for both the movie and the manga:
Why the fuck was Shinobus death so rushed yet we got a bunch of nonsensical shit with Tanjiros family again? My good God, its like she was an afterthought. My only praise is that it was a tiny bit better than how it was done in the manga, but I expected much better.
It is fucking killing me how my ctb date is in May and I know the second movie isnt going to come out anythime soon. I want to see Doumas head getting shoved in animated so bad.
Whatever, overall I did enjoy the movie, everything else was really well done.
