• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm thinking of riding my bike down a busy hill, into traffic and purposely being hit by an oncoming vehicle. For years I avoided being hit my cars and it felt it could happen at any time. Since it's winter and rainy all the time people are bad at driving. It would be amazing to just be rammed into oblivion.

The only thing I would say here is that it's not guaranteed to kill you and also, it involves other people. Be careful. I do share your desire though.

Don't expose other innocents & possibly children to that trauma please!!
That's the type of trauma that brings people to the website.
Things like that can't be unseen🤗🌹💔

You might survive but end up severely disabled. Imo it's not worth it.

I know I agree, but I live in Canada we have a postal strike so for the foreseeable future I can't order SN.

I just want to do something that is fast and reliable like most.

Now I'm wondering if most people riding bikes on the road are doing it for the same reason, based on how they take chances running stop signs for example. I'm partly trying to be funny but partly serious. I know of only one person who was killed riding a bike on a busy road (not on purpose as far as I know). Another one got brain damage and was miserable. I admit it sounds appealing but I wouldn't recommend it.

Ok, I have two issues with this method:
1) It in all likelihood wont kill you but could very easily disable you. Imagine being stuck in a broken body or brain damage for the rest of your life!
2) It will involve other, innocent people. The driver will be traumatized & have to live with the fact that they killed or injured someone, even if not their fault. Thats just not right. This site has many traumatized people on it, including a train driver who cant shake the trauma of killing someone on the tracks.
Involving other in a suicide would add to that problem. 🤗🌹💔
