Best way to hang yourself?

What's the best way to hang myself (short drop style) without failing and being left brain damaged and to achieve unconsciousness in the quickest time possible

And what are some things to bear in mind?

Please explain like I'm 5. What materials to use, ligature points, and method etc. and how to do so in a normal room without much to hang from?

You only need to drop a couple of inches to tighten things up quickly. That is how you succeed.

Well, full is guaranteed. It is only "perfect" if you prepare and have a little luck on your side. Perfect would be limited discomfort and a quick pass-out.
