Looking for the cheapest gun I can find but will obviously be effective. Any guns I should avoid or will any work. Leaning more towards any kind of hand gun since it'll be easier to use.

There's a firearms megathread. Key points are that 357 is prob the minimum caliber handgun you want to use. It must be aimed at the brainstem probably through the mouth or behind the ear. There were some used ones at the gun shop in my town for around $250

A couple guys did a great thread in the resource section of the site. Shotguns are fairly inexpensive for a basic model. A 12ga model with 00 buckshot or a slug load are as lethal as you can get. Having some knowledge is essential.

A 12 gauge shotgun will be the most reliable and cheapest you will find on the market. Most 12 gauge are < $300. The next I would recommend is a 9mm which you can get for less than $500 for a used one. One thing I can warn you though, gun is a violence thing and you better be sure as hell know what are you doing or there's a chance it will not end well.
