im just curious, why suicide using a train is rare in europe, especially putting your neck on the train track ?

Depending on how you do it you've got surprisingly high chance of survival (between 10-30%)
Also some countries like belgium make the family pay for the damages caused which is fucking ridiculous

It should be instant decapitation yeah, but you might retain consciousness for about 10 seconds.
Not that I think it'd matter by that point

Yeah... no. If the person or someone they were living with has a 'familiale verzekering', an insurance which (almost) everybody has in Belgium, they will pay.

Here's a website telling which procedure the NMBS (Belgian train company) follows in case of a death:

Yeah... no. If the person or someone they were living with has a 'familiale verzekering', an insurance which (almost) everybody has in Belgium, they will pay.

and then you need a foggy day, a sharp curve with the tracks, a train speed you know in advance so you know how much meters u have left, in combination with time reaction and stuff, a place with minimal safety measures, and if you mess up, you'll probably get a fine, it really fucking sucks
