Months and months ago, before I found SS or even knew it existed. I was researching peaceful ways to die and of course Nembutal came up and peaceful pill handbook. I bought the 2020 version hard copy and started reading more about N and it's accessibility online, counties that it can be found, pricing, powder vs liquid etc.

So I started doing some serious digging online. While searching I found a website about Numbutal scams, which allowed me to put a website in search bar and it would tell me if a scam or not - the list of known scams was to no surprise very long. I started giving up hope because every single website was on this list. Anywho, I stumbled across a website which featured a manufacturer from China and they had 25g of powdered N. I cross referenced them on the scam list and they were not on it, so I proceeded to reach out, and considering I had money to spare, I thought why tf not?

Anywho, the price was definitely more in line with what I had researched it would be. Payment options were the same that D offers, which I didn't know at the time, of course. So about 10-14 days later I actually receive a package with powder and tested it, and it confirmed to be a barbiturate.

The only thing I found to be somewhat "odd" is the shipping label had an address on it from TX, it's odd because the place I ordered from claims to be a company but the "rep" I spoke with about shipping was definitely aware of the legality of shipping a product like this. I imagine packages from D don't have his actual address on it either, you know?

The only issue now is how to know for sure it's not any other barbiturate and of course purity would be a concern.

If you send a sample to Energy Control (in Spain) they can test for composition and purity.

The thing is with sending a small sample of it, that sample could be lets say 80% purity but other parts of the package could be 20%, 40% etc.

I guess it can give you a general idea of how pure it is and what compound it actually is but unless you're sending the whole package (not advised) you won't know the actual purity of it, just of the sample.

Usually powders are homogeneous meaning you can't concentrate one ingredient in one place of the bag more than others. If that would be the case, the entire concept of testig would break apart. The assay is molecule-based so the results should have a high degree of confidence if the analysis are made properly and with the right equipment.
I mean, sure, vendors can pour N and then another filler on top of the N in the same bag, but that's only if they are much more stupid then me and i am the most stupid guy i ever met in my life.

Are there any barbiturates besides N that are still manufactured? And if so, can't they be a good substitute for N?

The only one that I know of is Phenobarbital/Luminal (different from Pentobarbital/N) and it's not nearly as effective and has to be taken in excessive amounts alongside brands of long-acting benzos that aren't even available anymore (like roofies). Idk why the PPeH lists meds that can no longer be obtained by anyone in their method guides.

Seconal would've been my barb of choice but they ceased manufacturing it in 2015 due to a pro-life company purchasing the rights to it (truly abhorrent that they'd make terminal cancer patients suffer for their own subjective beliefs, since it was the end-of-life drug they used to use in Oregon physician assisted suicides).

That's a shame. I guess we should be thankful that at least N is still available. Who knows, they might stop manufacturing it too at some point...

Indeed, those who can afford it should be thankful it's still available. Even if it's liquid and some people may have some problems with the amount/taste, at least there's the certitude of quality/purity.
I dont think they will stop manufacturing liquid N too soon, all the rest of the animals have a right to a peaceful end except of course for humans.

Veterinarian N will always be around. It is just a matter of someone willing to sell it internationally. This stuff is apparently easy to source in some countries. There was a member here from Peru who bought three bottles of Halatal over the counter.

They are probably thinking of drugs cut with fentanyl. Since it is so powerful if there is a hotspot then it could result in a overdose. If powdered N is really available it is probably not being cut like traditional narcotics.
