Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Yesterday a dog died while i was working with it.

(im a dog groomer) and while i was blow drying him his heart just stopped and he died.
My sister (also a groomer and my manager) did cpr on him and brought him back to life which is insane.
This dog is not old, he wasnt struggling or showing signs of being in distress or even discomfort.
Ive been working with this dog for years and he was acting exactly how he always does.
I feel so guilty. Hes been to the vet and it was concluded that it was nothing i did, and that it was due to a heart disease that had gone undiagnosed for a while..
but i still feel so guilty.
A dog in MY care died.
This is the kinda thing people go their entire grooming career and never experience.
Im not even sure why im writing about this here i guess i just need to process it all.

Oh my goodness that sounds so traumatizing :(. Sometimes horrible things happen to us and it's out of our control. You don't deserve to feel such guilt, sometimes things just, happen. It wasn't your fault, I promise. I think in no world would there be a mis understanding that you potentially harmed the pet.
