Avicii committed suicide with broken glass

Today I walked past the Avicii Arena in Stockholm. The sun was shining and the arena looked beautiful in the autumn weather. Avicii Arena is the worlds´s largest spherical building, the name of the building is a tribute to one of the greatest Swedish artists of our time. "Welcome to Avicii Arena" it says on the building.

Tim Bergling, Avicii (1989 - 2018) was a Swedish disc jockey, musician, singer, songwriter and music producent. Avicii suffered from health problems and committed suicide with broken glass he used to cut himself with.

When I walked past the Avicii Arena I thought of my own death. I almost become jealous of people who succeed in committing suicide, people who have the courage to die young. I hope that I will find the courage to die and that the suicide method does not fail.

I believe he had mental health problems. Saw something a while ago where they said he was completely stressed out all the time and had sought a meditation guru to teach him to meditate in like 5 minutes, because he had so little time in his schedule. - he was in a rush to meditate. Ironically

I'm a fan too. I love his songs. When I heard about his death all I could think about was 'I'm going to join you soon'. Avicii was 28 then and I'm 28 now. Good time to go.

Renaming places after unrelated people (except myself) is a pet peeve of mine.

I have no idea how he managed that. It seems like a really painful way to go even if he was totally drunk whilst doing it. I really wish we could know his reasons for doing it, what his state of mind was at the time, it's a very curious thing to me. RIP.

I have not heard of him before, but rest in peace. I thought that suicide by cutting was an unreliable method. I will never ctb that way. I am also jealous of those who have already died as they are free from suffering. I wish I had the courage.

He had pancreatitis due to alcohol consumption. But I think main reason was that he couldn't get outta music business. Guess he did it impulsively. I wouldn't dare to use his method. It kinda scares me.

I think his health problems pancreatis and the treatment he had made him lose his ability to cope with stress. the pressure of cancelling big shows and some of his fans sent him hate mail. He was very unlucky, I seem to have had a similar problem where health problems and treatment lead to a breakdown.

It's not the act. It's the method he chose that's shocking, don't you think? damn, a broken glass. I could never.
