I'm not really super depressed the way some of you are, I'm fairly highly functioning (might have persistent depressive disorder). Anyways, like the title says I'm attending this Gala thing full of rich people (the cheapest is $300, and most of the attendees are paying way more than that, I'm not personally paying though) in a fairly conservative industry.
I'm having just a wee bit of social anxiety, and I'm not exactly looking forward to having to talk about gender stuff. I'm non-binary and I don't want to get into any awkward conversations, but at the same time I want to dress androgynous (as I would at internal events, where everybody is already chill).
Planning on wearing a suit and tie with a skirt, a fair amount of makeup, a pearl necklace, and earrings (still deciding between one ear and two). The dress standard is semi-formal to formal.
