i already have a prescription for atenolol, and was wondering if that could be used in place of propranolol for a beta blocker with SN •3•?

theyre both beta blockers, but idk if propranolol is stronger or better at a particular thing and thats why it's recommended •w•'!!

edit: OH! i also already have an rx for olanzapine, but should i look into trying to get a different AM? hmm •3•…

I'm gonna be using something similar, I have metoprolol. Both atenolol and metoprolol block only b1 receptors which includes the heart, while propranolol blocks b1 and b2 receptors but b2 receptors don't concern the heart they affect things like the lungs, pancreas, muscles, and other stuff. I don't know about the dosage for atenolol but for metoprolol I'll have to use more than the dose for propranolol
