use google translate:

it seems simple and reliable.
i know it will be painful... at least thats what many people say.
but the trade off is simple enough.

doing this would be like 5 mins of personal torture... versus a life full of ongoing torture for decades upon decades.

one could hypothetically do this to make sure it's air tight:
just do it with a double plastic bag instead, and tape it totally shut.
or use a zip tie

i mean it's not rocket science to make it air-tight, if you really want to.
i only thought of this 10 mins ago, so i haven't perfected an alternate version of it.

Would anyone please translate it and post it here?
here's the poorly translated article:
Tragic! A middle-aged man committed suicide by wrapping tape around his face in his home in the Sai Mai area. Police have summoned relatives for further questioning.

A suicide occurred inside a village on Sukhaphiban 5 Road, Or Ngoen Subdistrict, Sai Mai District. The incident took place in a four-story townhouse, one of six units built side-by-side, which housed a company that designed, manufactured, sold, and exported/imported leather goods.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Chatchai Kusanthia, the investigating officer at Sai Mai Police Station, inspected the scene and found the body of Mr. Thongma, 44 years old, deceased on the 4th floor. He was found lying on his back, wearing a black long-sleeved t-shirt and long jeans.

Both hands were bound with twine to the headboard. Clear adhesive tape was wrapped around the head and neck, completely covering the face. A search of the room revealed no signs of struggle or ransacking.

Initially, authorities suspected that the deceased may have been stressed about business problems before committing suicide by tying a rope loop around his headboard on both sides, then wrapping clear tape around his face and looping both hands through the rope to prevent himself from helping himself, ultimately leading to suffocation and death.

Following this, police officers will invite close relatives of the deceased for further questioning in order to determine the true cause of death.

Thank you very much, this is really useful. I don't get the bit about the rope loop, but it is good to know this worked

exactly. thats also what i was confused about at first, the rope loop.
i think he felt like he wouldn't have a lot of time to put zip ties on his hands.
so he had alreade prepared a loop, ready for him to put his hands into,
and then all he had to do was put his hands inside the loop or slip knot,
and lie down so that the slip knot "locks",
and it would work as handcuffs.

idk if i explained it well enough
