• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

We breath one of these in large volumes on daily basis - this was my criteria buying it.
Odorless, tasteless
Have you tried your argon yet?

100% correct
Inert gas is my method.
Nitrogen and argon are equally effective. There is no odor difference.
Important point is to make sure the gas you buy is not mixed with any other gas. 99% pure is ok.
You need 600 liters = 22 cuft. to finish the job properly.
Industrial gas tanks only come in size of 20, 40, 60, 80 cuft
So you will need a 40 cuft size to guarantee ctb.
Extra is good for trial runs, without compromising the needed amount.
If in USA, here is a supplier who will ship full tanks of N2 to lower 48 via UPS ground:

Argon is not tasteless. I'm a welder and when cutting metal with argon and oxygen, you have to turn on the argon in order to start cutting the metal then adjust with oxygen. You can definitely smell the argon from a few feet away and I spent hours a day cutting pipe and sheets of metal and never really gotten any dizzy feelings with it before.
