CTB by Gunshot wound or Jumping are technically painless too, but i'm only listing these three because with them you don't have to overcome extreme SI and the Death comes much slower. You first go to sleep before you die, instead of ... BOOM u dead.

Overcoming SI is already mentally very painful. You could also say Jumping isn't but taking something is way more manageable and also you go out slowly instead of that quick transition to just death

It's not entirely painless. You can look up videos of it being done and see for yourself. If all the steps are done correctly, I believe the pain would be manageable.

It's impossible for SN to be peaceful and I know what I'm talking about. It causes severe methemoglobinemia which itself causes intense illness before it kills you. Your heart will pump like a jet engine, your breathing will become so rapid that you won't keep up with it eventually. Panic you get with this is off the charts. I experienced all those symptoms due to the same mechanism of cellular poisoning but not due to SN but due to H2S poisoning which is technically way worse due to it also causing sulfhemoglobinemia on top of methemoglobinemia but the mechanism of poisoning at the cellular level are very much alike and both of them can be compared with cyanide poisoning in terms of clinical manifestation of symptoms.

So, no, SN cannot be peaceful no matter what you do prior taking it. The only peaceful transition is N and CO that were / is used for CTB purposes all around the world and are known to induce peaceful death. There might be other peaceful drugs out there but these two chemical agents are the most widespread and tested methods that can be regarded as peaceful as death can be.

Hanging is pretty peaceful past the initial discomfort. But the carotid sinus reflex can really flatten the discomfort out and its gone before you know.
