When I was a teenager I was diagnosed as bipolar after a suicide attempt and got recommended pills. I never took them and have not seen any type of therapist. I believe they don't know shit and cannot help as they do not know my situation and cannot put themselves in my shoes. That being said, I do understand that some people genuinely need medication, but I think that is rare and not needed for most cases...
