All the good people in history either didn't have kids or offed themselves. They probably realised the cruel nature the universe and how it has no regards for any living or sentient beings. No matter how hard you try the universe only wants to go towards disorder. Only the malicious ones left. And they continued with no regard for anything. They made up dubious morals that fits their way of living. And here we are contemplating why this world is no hostile towards us.

I can imagine some people actually being happy and content with life, and putting children into the world to experience what they experienced.
But yeah, if you're not that kind of person and you have children, that's a pretty fucked up thing to do.

I think the universe is one of the "good" guys, because it is consistent with its laws. There's no level of brown-nosing that will exempt a man from gravity.
