There have been known cases which has caused SaSu to be on the news. There has been multiple ways people have ctb.Many. Search user zanexx. Went via CO. You could find articles online to confirm it too. It's a haunting thread to read, knowing she succeeded.

Someone made a thread a few months ago to remember some of the people who passed but it quickly died out.
Since this year, I feel like I've seen around 7ish posts from users that would post a lot (at the time) who never returned after their CTB thread.

in my time here, i've seen about a dozen go by SN, and at least one by partial hanging.

Seems to be a good few yeah. I know one guy from Ireland who received sn and made a thread hasn't been online since.

I've known this community for many years. I've seen many, many come and go. So many interesting people I wish I could've known IRL.

Unless you personally know the person or they put very specifics of themselves in their posting, it's really hard to determine. Another way is when it makes the news and the family provides the information. Other than that, I often Google suicides in the news and can presume they were a user by reading post and watching activity. Just because someone isn't active anymore, doesn't mean they succeeded....they very well could have just made a new user name. If you look at the statistics of suicide, you'll see firearms is the most used, then hanging/suffocation, then poison I believe. Not saying the others don't happen, because they do....but there is a reason for the top 3.
