Are "legal" poisons a thing?

I know ther's a lot of fuss on acquiring most of the poisons suggested here. Are there legal alternatives? I'm okay even if they involve pain or some preparation.
Is suicide with poisonous plants a thing?

What do you mean with legal? The chemical most people are discussing here, SN, is poison when ingesting and 100% legal to possess in most countries.

So there's lot of things you could poison yourself with. But they are really bad ideas. There are things worse then being in a bad situation, like renal failure that last two weeks.

the prolifers haven't done anything to take means away, just ones that aren't horrific or violent. Actually they don't seem to do much to make life better, just death worse.

I strongly suggest picking something non painful, non violent though. And I strongly suggest looking for other means than an exit if you can.

You'd be surprised that there are many legal poisons out there. Thing is, you pretty much have to do some research and maybe develop skills in alchemy to produce it, especially when you want to do it efficiently.

Regarding plant suicides? It's a thing. People have done it before. And that is pretty much how I intend to go.

I can only talk about the UK but.... I think any substance to CTB is legal until it's popular/common enough to require legislation.

For example; SN was legal to buy/sell/trade/store/consume/throw at pigeons until December last year, which is when it was classified as an reportable substance/poison, because there was lots of publicity around suicides involving SN.

Yeah I agree, I think plants would be an interesting method to explore, do you have any info?

For me, it would either be the pong pong seeds or yews.

One thing to note about these two are that pong pong seeds are painful and can take up to 6 hours or more to kill, and require certain agents to prevent the undesired symptoms from occuring. Yews on the otherhand require removal of impeding compounds to ensure a quick and peaceful death. Of course, a proper antiemetic such as scopolamine is required for both of them.
