  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

So I'm not a very productive human being.
I can't sleep and keep a regular job cuz ADHD and if I get any regular sleep it's cuz I sedate myself with pills that I can't afford anyway.
I have BPD and OCD and CPTSD and tourette's and they still denied me, I have a small history of self-harm and clinical depression.

I have been on it when I was younger but my mom doesn't remember how she got me on it.

I'm at this point in my life where I can't maintain a steady job so I've been working temp agencies trying to survive but I end up usually shacking up with a girl because I end up either punching someone in the face or getting fired for something stupid like having to use the restroom to pee too many times.
And I just feel like I'm going to end up CTB if I don't find a way to live as a hermit.

I've already been homeless previously and I really don't want to end up back there.

Very difficult to get on SSI. I have a friend who did and she needed an attorney after multiple tries. But even if you do, it's barely enough to survive, if that.

Sadly the only way I was approved for disability and ssi was through a lawyer. It took 2 or 3 years. The comment above is right. It's not enough money to survive

I was on it before, but the reason I want to get on it is to have health insurance. I need to eventually have surgery on my shoulder from an incident that happened in 2011.

Yeah the health insurance is the only real benefit to being disabled. I truly believe the government would rather we disappear since we aren't contributing to society

if your main concern is health insurance, is there a reason why you wouldn't be eligible for Medicaid? getting on that is heaps easier/quicker than getting approved for any disability benefits since it's income-based. i was on it for years before i was eventually got approved for SSI. as far as healthcare goes, it's obviously not great but also much better than nothing.

this is a website i refer to a lot for this kind of stuff. maybe you'll find it helpful, idk!

(i live in a rural area in the Midwest so my living costs are pretty low, but i actually do okay as far as financial survival on SSI lol)

I've been on it since 2008 but I had to get a lawyer even tho I spent eight years in a state hospital and was homeless due to mental illness (BPD, cPTSD, gad) and it took the lawyer three separate attempts to get me awarded SSI. It's very difficult to get on honestly. I'm not gonna lie to you or lead you along. The government are assholes about helping the mentally ill
